Flag of Bulgaria, Bulgarian coat of arms and national anthem
The Bulgarian flag is composed of three equal horizontal bands of white, green and red.
Bulgarian coat of arms Bulgaria has a new official emblem of Bulgaria since 1997. The white color means Purity, Hope and Nobility. The green colors stands for Freedom, Faith, Fertility and fruitfulness. The red color is for Bravery, Love, Manhood.
The Bulgarian national anthem is based on the music and lyrics of the song "Gorda Stara Planina" (Proud Stara Planina), written by Tzvetan Radoslavov (1863-1931) in 1885, during the Serb-Bulgarian war.
